What is permaculture?
Permaculture is sustainable food production and so much more. Permaculture gardens are designed to follow nature’s ways, informed by the biodiversity and interdependent relationships found in natural ecosystems. The principles of permaculture are also applied to sustainable system design in other areas such as shelter, energy, and community:
Earth care
People care
Fair share
Permaculture promotes mutually sustaining relationships between people and the land and equitable, wise use of resources.
